Grants Writer 

Reporting to the Director of Government and Institutional Giving, the Grants Writer will be responsible for researching funding opportunities and writing strategic and compelling letters of intent (LOI’s), grant proposals, interim and final reports, and collateral material. The Grants Writer will also help create project budgets working with the Development team and Departmental staff, manage the foundation, corporate, and government pipeline by tracking application deadlines and the dates when interim and final reports are due, maintain donor credit language, and assist in the stewardship of donors.

AIM Program Coordinator 

Reporting to the AIM Manger, the AIM Program Coordinator will provide administrative and event support across all AlM-related programming. The Program Assistant works closely with the AIM and Residency Programs Manager and Bronx Museum staff to provide administrative, technical, and ground support to artists in residence at The Block, AIM fellows at the Bronx Museum, and as well as visitors to The Block Gallery. The Program Assistant will be a key team member overseeing programmatic offerings, and related public events, developed and/or facilitated by the Bronx Museum to support AIM artists and programming.

Curator 
Reporting to the executive office, the Curator will provide oversight of all curatorial activities, including all Bronx Museum exhibitions (onsite and offsite), curatorial-related programs, curatorial printed matter, and the Museum’s permanent collection. S/he will serve as the in-house curatorial expert and spokesperson for the BxMA, with an appetite for interfacing with a broad and interested public, including a range of artists, community members, colleagues, students, funders, and Board Members.

Public Programs Coordinator 

Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Public Programs Coordinator will will serve as the primary coordinator of education, curatorial, and community public program logistics, production and outreach.

 

As part of the position, s/he will be responsible for the implementation administration and production of these events, being the on-site point-person during the majority of the events.

 

S/he will demonstrate a real sense of responsibility, accountability and urgency as well as superior interpersonal skills and excellent follow-through. S/he must have the ability to meet deadlines and be adept at coordinating multiple logistics. S/he will show initiative in self-organization and be a dynamic self-starter who can also be a team player. S/he will help lead Bronx Museum to the next stage in its development of integrated, collaborative arts programming.
